Restructure of the Scientific Committee of APA

In September 2014 the Council of APA restructured a Scientific Committee which is a formal part of the Council with responsibility for the Associations research and conference activities. The Committee will be co-chaired by Doo-Sub Kim (South Korea) and K. G. Santhya (India) to share the tasks. Doo-Sub Kim will oversee the organization of the scientific content of the Conference program, review of abstracts, and cooperation with the Local Organizing Committee. K. G. Santhya will handle management of the Scientific Groups, and will assist with peer review of abstracts for the Conference. Other members of the Committee are Terence H. Hull (Australia), Mohammad Jalal Abbasi-Shavazi (Iran) and Tey Nai Peng (Malaysia). Other members of the Council will also be asked to provide assistance as needed, particularly in the review of papers and management of the parallel sessions during the Conference.
