Travel Requirements

• A passport with at least 6 months validity is required for all nationals.

Visa

• Please visit the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in your country for visa information.
• The conference organizer will be able to issue an invitation letter, if required.

 Travelling to conference venue (Royal Ambarrukmo hotel)

• Yogyakarta has 2 international airports. The closest one to the conference venue is Adisutjipto airport (The old airport - 15 minutes to the conference venue). From the new Yogyakarta international airport or Kulon Progo International Airport, it takes around one hour to travel to the conference venue.
• Taxi is the most convenient option to travel to the conference venue from the airport.

Travelling around Yogyakarta 

• Grab and Gojek are widely used in Yogyakarta and very convenient.
• Borobudur Temple, about 1 hour by car.
• Prambanan, about half an hour by car. The site is also accessible by bus.
• Malioboro Shopping streeet, Taman Sari, Kraton Palace, and Fort Vredeberg Museum are in the city area.
• Mount Merapi, about 1 hour by car.

Currency

• Indonesian Rupiah is the official currency of the Republic of Indonesia. USD 1 is approximately IDR 14,200.
